WHAT’S INCLUDED?
Bret with his 17+ years of DJ experience, his ultimate wedding playlist, pre-wedding consultation and tailor-made playlist, MC service, Pioneer professional DJ decks.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Bret will talk to you before the big day about your favourite music and any specific songs you’d like, and he’s happy to consult on your ‘First Dance’ song. You might even have already sent him a Spotify playlist of music you want him to play.
He will then arrive at your venue at least 90 minutes before your big event to plug in and setup. He’s from England, has a great ‘speaking voice’ and is happy to make announcements etc so long as you give him notice beforehand during your initial consultation. Then just enjoy your day as he blitzes through your dream wedding setlist!
WHAT KIND OF MUSIC DOES BRET PLAY?
Bret plays dance music, pop, old school r’n’b, classic disco, rock’n’roll… just imagine a really amazing party! So long as it’s famous and mainstream in the UK and USA he’s probably heard of it. If there’s specific songs you absolutely must have though, make sure to ask before the wedding - he can’t download new songs while he’s performing!
CAN HE PLAY A SPOTIFY PLAYLIST?
‘Yes’ and ‘No’. By all means you can send a link in the time leading up to the wedding when you’re planning your music with him, but Spotify doesn’t allow professional DJ apps to integrate and Tidal has proven to be unreliable and causes frequent system crashes. Everything needs to be downloaded and in place in the days before the wedding.
CAN BRET PLAY MUSIC FROM A SMARTPHONE?
Bret won’t risk playing music from a phone - there’s many practical and professional reasons for this. Make sure he knows what songs you like beforehand, relax and let him do his thing!
