Bret with his 17+ years of DJ experience, MC service if required, pre-event consultation and tailor-made playlist, Pioneer professional DJ decks.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Bret will talk to you before the event about your desired music and any musical cues you’d like. You might even have already sent him a Spotify playlist of music you want him to play.
He will then arrive at the location around 60 minutes before the start time to plug in and setup. Rest assured whatever the event, Bret will look the part, the music will be perfect and the atmosphere exactly what you need.
WHAT KIND OF MUSIC DOES BRET PLAY?
Whatever your corporate event needs so long as it’s Western (i.e. UK / USA origin). He has mixes that he can share with you that will give you a very good idea. If it’s a party then it will be a mix of house, pop and old school r’n’b, perhaps disco classics; but if on the other hand it’s a product launch, we will look at a background vibe probably of ‘deep house’ or something more conducive to a mood rather than dancing. Your event, your choice.
CAN HE PLAY A SPOTIFY PLAYLIST?
‘Yes’ and ‘No’. If it matches his regular music by all means you can send a link in the time leading up to the event when you’re planning your music with him, but Spotify doesn’t allow professional DJ apps to integrate apart from Tidal which has proven to be unreliable and causes frequent system crashes. Everything needs to be downloaded and in place in the days before the party.
CAN BRET PLAY MUSIC FROM A SMARTPHONE?
Bret won’t risk playing music from a phone - there’s many practical and professional reasons for this. Make sure he knows what songs you like beforehand, relax and let him do his thing!
